Being forced by various life circumstances to leave my home in Evergreen, I was searching for an opportunity to start a new chapter in my life. I found a perfect solution in the Village at Belmar and joined their Independent Living program in early January of 2025. The most important part of my decision was the quality of the staff: always friendly, always helpful, always welcoming -- and always making me feel like a member of an extended family. I have found it healthy for my enjoyment and my mental health to have made so many friends among the residents and the staff in such a short time. Many of the highlights include the spacious common areas, delightful living units, excellent food service and an extraordinary variety of creative onsite and offsite activities. Private garages and terraces are a huge added plus, which I find quite unusual and totally awesome. Overall, among many challenging life events, I feel very fortunate to have truly found the home I was looking for.

I love the Village at Belmar because the staff are passionate about providing their residents with superior care! They work hard to provide residents with a living environment with social opportunities and fun activities!
