About Caringlist

Caringlist is an online directory that helps families find senior care providers. We are a directory and information platform. We are not a care provider, healthcare agency, or medical service. Caringlist does not directly provide, manage, or supervise any care services listed on our platform.

Using the service

By using Caringlist, you agree to these terms. Caringlist is offered to people in the United States only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

For families

The information on Caringlist is provided to help you find and compare senior care options. We encourage you to verify all details directly with providers, visit facilities in person, and check licensing and references before making any care decisions. The inclusion of a provider on Caringlist does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of their services.

For providers

• You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information on your listing.
• You are responsible for the content of your listing, including photos, descriptions, and contact information.
• You will not use the platform to misrepresent your services, credentials, or licensing status.
• We reserve the right to remove or suspend listings that violate these terms or contain misleading information.
• Some listings come from public sources and have not been claimed. If one describes your business, you can claim it, or ask us to correct or remove it from the listing page or by emailing [email protected].

Payments and billing

Providers are not charged to be listed on Caringlist, and there is no subscription fee for a listing. Providers can purchase prepaid credit packages to unlock contact details for families who have requested information. Credits are deducted per unlock at the rate shown on the billing page. The price you see at checkout is the amount you are charged; no credits are added to your account until payment succeeds.

Credit packages are prepaid for unlocking contact details and are non-refundable once any credits from the package have been spent. Refunds for unused credits are made at Caringlist's discretion. If a payment is refunded, credits acquired through that payment are revoked in proportion to the refund. Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.

Inquiries and communication

When a family sends an inquiry through Caringlist, we tell the chosen provider that a request arrived along with its care details, and the provider pays a fee to receive the sender's name and contact information. We do not monitor, mediate, or guarantee responses to inquiries. Providers are expected to respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, may use a family's details only to answer the request they sent, and may not resell or share them.

Caringlist is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any specific provider listed on our platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of care services provided by any listed provider. Families should conduct their own due diligence before selecting a care provider.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
