My Mom stayed here for over 3 years. The place is really nice and the staff is amazing. She really enjoyed her time here and made friends easily. They are very attentive and patient with everyone. I visited 3-4 days a week sometimes more and anytime I had questions or concerns they were always addressed professionally.
Read on Google āNo one knows better than our family, how hard it is when it comes time to choose a new home for your loved one as they progress with Alzheimerās. But Iām writing this review to express that my family will forever be grateful for the exceptional care that our father received at Autumn Leaves of Orland Park. They made my father feel like this community was his home and we were treated like family. The wonderful caregivers, the nurses, management, cooks and even the custodial members of this community were so kind, caring and loving to my father and our family. I interviewed so many places before I found Autumn Leaves, and at first, it seemed too good to be true, that we had found a place where the staff genuinely cares about its residents and treats them with kindness, patience and compassion. But we certainly had found that place! Autumn Leaves has such a dedicated team; all hands on deck from every single worker! I never saw a staff member on their cell phone while working; they all make sure that the residences eat their meals, get plenty to drink and give them the help that is needed throughout the day. My fatherās laundry was always done in a timely manner, his room was always kept clean, and his bed made every day. I had a stereo in my fatherās room, and the caregivers made sure his Frank Sinatra music was turned on every single morning for him without fail while they would get him ready for his day. His medications were always distributed on time by the professional 24 hour nursing staff as well. And during the night, the staff would check on him multiple times. If youāre looking for a wonderful place for your loved one, look no further than Autumn Leaves. Our family was blessed to have our father here!

My dad is getting kicked out today because the director Peace said my dadās hospitalizations are āmaking her look badā š The place is clearly understaffed is the main issue. The staff was doubling up my dad with seroquel when they didnāt want to deal with him to the point he couldnāt form sentences or speak. They called my mom directly and asked her to watch my dad on multiple occasions because they donāt have enough staff. The food is gross for sure. My dad has had a few falls there unreported. My mom has had to do the laundry because they donāt spray for any stains. His stuff often still smelled of piss when we let them do it. They never showered my dad cause heās a fall risk-only sponge baths. The emergency pull lines are out in all the rooms or at least thatās what they told us when we brought up my dadās being out. The only positive about that place is Andre! He really cares about patients. The rest of them just try to get by. PS this what my dad looked like when we went to Texas for 5 days. They said he was āfineā. Had to hospitalize him for a week when we got back. I donāt care how he got that way, but Jesus christ do something! Follow up edit: And for the record we attempted to contact the company multiple times during and after this happened-they never answered. They just take your money and run.
