Hello, I just had to leave a review on Kings Reserve Willowbrook 55+ Active Adult living. My wife and I have been truly blessed on being accepted to live here. It is literally one of Houston’s best kept secrets off of Hwy 249 and Fm 1960 near Willowbrook Mall. This beautiful resort has everything from golf course, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym equipment such as aerobic equipment, weights, outside fish pond, recreational room with table Tennis, free laundry room, library and mini bistro.The staff are absolutely amazing always warm and welcoming and very professional. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly as well as quiet. The entire place is superbly organized and clean which makes it comfortable to relax and read or just enjoy nature. It is also located less than 1 mile from all the shopping outlets and restaurants. The best part is their affordable prices. Especially considering its location is in the Champions Forest area as well. If you ever needed a place to call home that feels like paradise every day, well look no further. Fantastic helpful staff! Beautiful courtyards and so much to do. Pool, Gym putting green. Wait is this a resort…no it’s where my friends and I live.

Very disappointed in the fact that I wasted 2 weeks speaking with leasing agents and submitting an application here. Upon first calling on Saturday 11 April, Doneisha (sp) answered and we inquired if they allowed residents under the age of 55. She said she wasn't sure and would check, but we could swing by for a tour while she checked. We had a good tour, then at some point while there she confirmed that they allowed a certain percentage of residents to be under the age of 55. She gave us a lot of information and gave me an application. She gave me a number I could call that supposedly was for prospective residents if I had any questions before submitting an application. I tried calling that number several times and either got the voicemail or it was picked up and hung up immediately. I then went in on one of my lunch breaks after talking with someone on the phone named Claire who confirmed the age question again. I came in and submitted my filled in paper application and ID on Friday 17 April with who said she was Claire (that or she didn't clarify her name and let me take a business card from the desk that said Claire). I didn't have my SSN so I came back on Saturday 18 April to submit it and tour to decide on an apartment unit. I chose one with Doneisha but before leaving she tried to locate my application at her desk and couldn't find it.... She stated she would find it and it was probably in Claire's desk who wasn't there at the moment. She said I would hear back on the application in up to 5 days. So I waited until Friday 22 April and tried to call but didn't get an answer. So I went in on my lunch break and asked for Claire. Apparently the person I was asking was Claire (and she WAS at the desk where I had talked to the woman who said she was Claire, but I did not recognize her). I described who I had talked to and the real Claire said I was talking about Ashlee, and she was in her office. Claire did not have a friendly or inviting tone at all. I went to talk to Ashlee and she said something to the effect of 'oh, X (I forget the name she said) was supposed to call you and let you know that we were given the wrong information and actually you can't live here at your age'. She asked if I wanted my application materials back after I asked if it had ever even been submitted (it had not, supposedly). I said yes let me have the copies of my ID and SSN back. She gave me the copy of my ID after first looking through the wrong application of someone else, then said she didn't know where my SSN copy was.... She said something like 'I'm pretty sure I shredded it'...... Very unprofessional staff, I believe they probably didn't even check on the age limit issue until after I had submitted my application in paper and gave sensitive information (which now could be floating around anywhere since they could not actually locate it). They also have a very low rate of answering their phone, with most calls going to an off-site call center.
