After a bad experience at a different memory care facility for my dad, I can say that the Bristal has been a gift to my family. The place is very clean and well maintained. My dad’s room is clean and smells clean. The food is good and there are choices at every meal. The staff has been wonderful. They have gotten to know my dad, and they show him kindness and respect. I have been impressed with the level of security in the building, which is especially important in a memory care place. I would highly recommend the Bristal at Lake Success for any family that needs this kind of care.

My Mom has been at The Bristal since March 2026. From the Front Office and Wellness Staff, Housekeeping, Activities Personnel, Food Services, and especially her day-to-day caregivers, it has been an excellent experience. Staff is responsive, kind and very compassionate. They have taken the time to get to know my Mom and learn her preferences. Everyone at The Bristal knows her name and acknowledges her with a smile and greeting each time they see her. Thank you all for taking such good care of my Mom. 🩷

in reading all of these outstanding reviews, it feel like my mother-in-law, may she rest in peace, was in a different facility. Starting with the "sales pitch". It is a beautiful building. We saw the spa, the fitness center, the crafts room...all beautiful. Are they used by the guests, regularly or at all? The dining staff and aids, work very hard and are understaffed. The leadership seems to be a revolving door. The only things that I can find positive from our experiences were the holiday celebrations and the musicians and entertainers that were invited to perform. At the end of the day, its a glorified nursing home w/lipstick.
