Carmel Oaks truly stands out as a welcoming and uplifting community for independent seniors. From the first visit, there was a noticeable sense of comfort and connection. The team here is not only professional but also incredibly kind. They go out of their way to make residents and visitors feel at home. The residents themselves seem genuinely content and involved, which speaks volumes about the atmosphere. The community is beautifully maintained, and there’s always something going on—whether it's fitness classes, social events, or creative workshops, there's something for everyone. What really impressed me is how inclusive and warm the environment is. Even as a guest, you’re made to feel like you’re part of something special. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend Carmel Oaks to anyone looking for a vibrant, caring place to call home during their retirement years.

We are looking forward to moving to Carmel Oaks next month. We visited more than 10 independent senior living facilities and researched even more. We had an extremely positive feeling after visiting Carmel Oaks the first time. However, to make sure, we visited several more times. We found the residents and staff to be sincerely friendly and welcoming. Residents came up to welcome us mentioning that they were happy that we were back. They were anxious to tell us about the activities they participated in and to encourage us to join. Their enthusiasm about living at Carmel Oaks was evident. We heard more than once that their decision to move to Carmel Oaks was a good decision. Perhaps this feeling of inclusion is because the facility is small. Carmel Oaks is the smallest facility that we visited. And definitely the one that felt like "family". As we worked with the staff to submit our application, we found the caring and attention to detail also gave us the feeling of family. We were first drawn to Carmel Oaks because of the large apartments, the underground parking and the limited meal plan to let us continue cooking when we wanted. In the end, it was the staff, residents and positive atmosphere that convinced us to make Carmel Oaks our home. As we prepare to move to Carmel Oaks, we are looking forward to a continued vibrant life style.
