Accessibility

Many people who use Caringlist are older adults, or caregivers reading on whatever device is at hand at a hard moment. Legible type, plain language, forgiving forms, and full keyboard and screen reader support are requirements for us, not polish.

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Every release runs automated accessibility checks that must pass before it ships. We have not yet completed a formal third-party audit, and we know some pages still fall short.

Tell us when something does not work

If any part of the site is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or any other assistive technology, email [email protected] with the page and what happened. We read every message and fix what we can quickly. If you need information from a page in another form, ask and we will provide it.
